I received my red sea testing kit today, to replace the one I couldn't read right...and my KH is 9 which is low... and I'm wondering if and how, I should raise it? Ph came in at 7.8-8 sort of hard to tell the difference in colors..and NO3 was 2.

this kit didn't come with a calcium test, so I will pick that up real soon, but I'm not sure what to do about these numbers. I will test nitrate soon (always been 0)
any thoughts? I just did a w/c 2 days ago, of 25 gallons (tank is 125)

Kh being 9 is a little higher than I keep my system .
I aim for 7.5 -8 dkh
Why would you want it higher then 9
well, I thought it was 8-12? so based on that...? ok. I'm used to more numbers, on the cards, not colors. but the last time I checked my Calcium, it was 500. so tomorrow I'll pick up a test for that, and check. should I do anything about alk being there?
