Hello everyone.

I don’t have a PAR Meter. I see Red Sea has a few standard setting for the LED90 and list the PAR numbers. If a use one of the standard programs, but turn down the setting by 30 percent. Do my PAR Reading in theory drop 30 percent. I’m asking because it seems most people don’t run the lights at 100%. but I would like to be able to figure out a ballpark PAR number.

thanks

Michael

I run four(4) RS 90 on my tank. I run blues about 65% and whites around 18. I just rented BRS par meter and bottom sand is 75-120 and top rock peaks run around 200-230. Hopes this helps at all

Thanks. Great ball parks numbers. I’m currently running about the same 60 blue and 30 white. I would think those numbers would be best for LPS and soft corals

U can Prbly bump them up 60/40 over an 8-10hr pp hour ramp either side. I was
Conservative but over time thru the max light at the tank. Nvr had a par meter but corals seemed happy. Not saying blast ur tank. But U can acclimate over time and I got more and
More into sps. Needed higher par. Still need a meter but running 2x Xr15 g5 pro ab+ spectrum 75% intensity. Like what I’m seeing so far.
