Red Sea Max E-170 sump upgrade?

I am reading the instructions, and I see error or I did something wrong. It says to
replace the closed grill plugs with the open grill plugs that are
supplied with the pipe kit. If you do that and power goes out the water will overflow in your sump. Am I wrong? I hope people realized this.

Figured it out, Thanks. It was the knob was closed, lol
