How much water do you remove when doing a water change in the E-260 (approximately) also what wattage heater should be used. I live in Vermont...
Hi Gary

I had the E260 before upgrading. You can choose the heater according to the water volume so get one for roughly a 260 litre tank. I had a single 200w in the back of mine

It’s up to you on water changes but 10% would be around 26 litres per week but you can choose what you want to do according to your lifestyle etc.

They are beautiful tanks, but I would also take a look at the Max S 400 entry. It’s a little bigger but the S Series are much easier to work with in terms of skimmers, filtration etc.

Whichever you choose you will love them as they are beautifully made.

I do 7-8 gallons a week water change. No heater, live in So Cal and have small inside dogs so the house is mildly heated or air conditioned even when no one is home.

Looking back to your reefing roots: Did you start with Instant Ocean salt?
