I’m a newbie pretank purchase.
Looks good.
How do you like the Nero5 so far? Did you choose it because of size?

The Nero 5 is awesome! I chose it based on the ability to lower it to 1% and I could always use it on a bigger tank if I decide to upgrade. My corals have loved it and I’ve noticed more polyp extension and growth when I added it to the tank.

Update
The tank seems to be doing well but my gsp on the rights side of the back wall won’t seem to open up, everything else seems to be doing pretty good.

Parameters:
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 10 ppm
Alkalinity: 8.2 DKH
Calcium: 400 ppm
Magnesium: 1440 ppm

Do these parameters seem okay? 3FFD513A-1079-4FE0-893E-716DEE684FE7.jpeg

I added 3 new Zoas to the garden! I can’t seem to get the gsp to stay glued to the back wall, it has fallen down 3 times now.

3 month update:
Coralline algae is really starting to take off and the corals seem to be doing really well. I started dosing all-for-reef daily and that seems to be doing the trick for coral growth as well as AB+ for coloration.

Looks really cool!
I have a question though. How much space is there between the front glass and the “sump/technical area” in the back of the tank itself?
Would you buy the tank again or do you think theres better out there for that price?

Thanks!
