Hey y’all. I was getting frustrated by the nonsense that was my test kit/meds drawer, so I slapped together this little prototype at work. It’s made of sintra, so it’s waterproof, and it’s customized to fit my Red Sea test kits. In retrospect, I would have lengthened it to include places for my hydrometer, titrators, and extra thermometers.
It’s just a one-day prototype. I would finish the edges, probably 45 route edge the lip around, give it a sealant coat to look sleek and resist some scratching, and be more patient and exact with the diameter measurements, haha. Maybe a slot in the back for the color cards, too.
It could be done to fit any kit, super easy to customize.
Hooray for slow days at work. Just thought I’d share!

Nicely done. Having never used the material, what did you use to drill the holes?

So much nicer then digging through the boxes, nice DIY

I used paddle bits all the way through, with scrap clamped on either side to prevent chip outs. Then just another thinner layer applied as the bottom
