I have a Red Sea XL425 (110 gal) with a Red Sea Reef Mat 500. It seems like I am using a lot of felt. A roll is lasting about a week. I put a new roll on last Sunday and it ran out today. My usage each day this week was 66", 245", 328", 220", 155", 117"

This doesn't seem right, but not sure. The waste roll is very dirty. Could this be because I tend to feed well. Twice daily Morning (pellets and algae) evening a mix of mysis, etc. Doesn't seem like much and my nitrates and phosphates are actually low. Fish (4 cardinals, fox face, brown powder tang, bristle tooth tang, sail fin, wrasse. Regular cleanup crew of snails and crabs

Settings on Reefmat
extended mat advance 2"
mat advance length 0.4-0.6"

Roll history - 12 days, 8 days, 15 days, 13 days, 16 days, 18 days. Then this week of 6 days

Thanks for any help

Just installed mine last week. Here is mine. I do notice that when I feed more, it goes up.
