I recently moved into a small apartment in the Bay Area and have been going crazy with no tank. Due to the size limits of the new place I am kinda forced to go with a tiny Red Sea reefer 170. I know this will be difficult because of the size constraints, but I’m going for a full blown sps dominant mixed reef with all high end pieces. I plan to run a custom sump with a refugium.
So as I wait for the tank to be delivered I’m gathering equipment and mapping out the build. I don’t want to cheap out on equipment so here is what I’ve come up with:
Reefer 170
Nyos quantum 120
Neptune cor 20
Apex controller
Aquatic life 4stage rodi
2x mp10’s
1x xr30 pro gen 4 radion

Hey man, I wouldn't go with the Nyos. We use them at the Aquarium I work at and honestly, for the money you pay I wouldn't go for them. They don't perform as well as they should. I would honestly check out the Reef Octopus 150SS, or 110SS
