Red Sea Reefer 250 modded.

I closed and sold off most of my 100gallon a few weeks ago due to moving house. I am still between houses but have installed this Red Sea Reefer 250 full set up as it was such a bargain and I had to move quick to secure it. I have a lot of mods inc an ATS calc reactor skimmer another Radion and of course an Oxydator. There is mature live rock and sand in and I have put 5 small Fiji damsels in, no QT of course. I will of course do a full inventory later.

One of my damsels has gine AWOL. I uave searched all round the outside of the tank with no sign of it. The other 4 are fine swimming around eating and chasing one another. I bought a couple of Radions XR30 pros gen3s and a mounting bar system which I will fit in the next few days then I will make and fit my Red Sea net cover. I'll be damed where the damsels gone as my reef scape is pretty open. Hmmm [emoji848]

The sump with gate valve came that way replaced by the previous owner.

Yesterday i removed the Radion XR30 pro gen 3 with wide angle lenses and replaced it with 2 XR30 pro gen 3s with standard lenses futted to an Ecotech rail system. I also fitted them with Lightdefusion diffusers. Lights are on the Ecotech AB+ programne run at 60% as the diffusers reduce PAR by 11% which is better than Ecotechs own.
I bought 2 small Royal grammas today as I like to buy my fish in pairs or smalk groups. I am.currently waiting for them to put in an appearance. I also did some more work in the sump mounting controllers etc. I still have more to do like install my calcium reactor and waterfalk ATS.

My Oxydator model A sitting in the first chamber of my Red Sea Reefer 250 where the water from my tank enters the sump. I am using 9% peroxide and 2 catalysts.

Are you measuring ORP with your Oxydator?

I did do some years ago but no longer do so. What I found is that somehow the oxydator interferes with the ORP probe. Redox would initially go up but then drop to low levels with higher concentrations of peroxide. It couldn't have been to a genuine ORP drop but interference with the probe.
