Hi all,

Wanted to make a quick separate post for this configuration. I had searched around and seen a few people asking about this connection.

I just bought a RSR 350, and decided that all my pumps would be EcoTech's because I love their wavemakers.
The RSR350 comes with a 5/8" Barb connection for it's soft hosing sump return.
The Ecotech Vectra M2 has an optional 1" Barb connection for it's output.

I have read a few solutions to this problem and wanted to share how I fixed this connection issue with $5 worth of parts from Home Depot.

1" PVC Bushing Spigot x 3/4" Female Pipe Thread
3/4" Barb x 3/4" Male Pipe Nylon Adapter
Pieces.jpg

ABS cement to bond the spigot fitting to the blue Ecotech fitting
Assembled.jpg

everything fits together beautifully

Trimmed the green return tube and used a heat gun to heat the hose so it would slip over barb fitting easily.
Hose Attach.jpg

So, $5 and a LOT of thinking later my RSR350 has a return pump plumbed.
