Red sea Reefrun Dual Controller

Will it work w/o a return pump connected and still run the skimmer. I bought a NIB RSK600 on FB and then found out I needed a contoller. Don't want to buy a red sea return pump as i already have a Jebao that is working well and no livestock to speak of yet.

Or, any other controller that would run this sicce psk600 pump?

Your short answer is yes.. but you'll have to configure it correctly with the app.
The RSK-600 skimmer uses a Sicce PSK600 pump that Red Sea made controllable via their ReefRun Dual Controller.
While the controller is marketed for dual use (return + skimmer), each outlet is independent. You can plug just the skimmer in and leave the return pump outlet unused.
So you're good to go with only the skimmer connected.
What You Need to Do:

1. Plug in the Sicce PSK600 (the RSK skimmer pump) into either outlet on the ReefRun controller.


2. Connect the controller to Red Sea’s ReefBeat app via Wi-Fi.


3. During setup, you can assign the connected outlet to be a “skimmer”, even if the second (return) port is left unused.


4. You can control the pump speed and skimmer timing, and set delays for feeding or maintenance.

Your jebao is fine.
