Does anyone have experience with them? Are you using the additional controller? How well does it work without?
Thanks.

do you want one because you are trying to keep all equipment Red Sea? I only ask because I believe that there are many other options that would be superior and/or cheaper if Red Sea isn't a must for you.

I do have the reefmat 500. But if I need the additional controller for wifi control, I might consider something else. My Current USA seems to be not pumping as much as it used to.

I generally try to avoid red sea when possible since I've learned of the many tank failures they have handled in a sub-par manner, as a form of mild protest. If wifi control is not important to you, check out reefbreeders nautilus return pumps. I used one for my frag tank build, and absolutely love it. They are quite affordable, run silent, and are dc-controllable with the included, very easy to use controller: https://reefbreeders.com/products/n...9yQStcuSZAXA-yxoCvdO4V0go17emnFUZO7GYD2ZBrG54

I had the 5500 for over a year, and it worked just fine. You do have to have the controller, though.

I recently upgraded to the COR20 and love it! Do you use an Apex?

I thought the red sea had flow control but controller added wifi and functionality.

I think the 6000 is 14. But yeah, one of them.

Right, a maximum of 14 for the 6000... but then again, the COR-20 is 20.

Either way, sounds like you're not going to be integrating it into an existing ecosystem (i.e., Reefbeat / Apex), so I'd look at other options.

Just wondering if I'd get longer life out of a better/more expensive brand than current or jaebo
