Well..... After 3 tank upgrades in the past year and a half, I think I might be able to find some time to share my journey with you all!!! I have had freshwater Cichlid tanks for the past 15 years or so and decided to try saltwater Nov. 2020. I started with a 36 gallon bow front. I then picked up a 92 gallon corner tank. Soon after picked up a Red Sea reefer 250 from a fellow Reefer on here, and that's when I decided I was Hooked!!! Time to get a tank for the long haul. I picked up the Red Sea Reefer S-1000. I'm now down to just the reefer 250 and S-1000. I'll post a few pics of where I am at this point with the S-1000 and fill in the details of the journey when I get some more free time!!

Such a clean setup do it yourself? Looks professional under the stand I'm jealous.
Thank You. All done by me. I took a lot of ideas from different set ups I’ve seen on here and elsewhere online. I wanted it to be clean but have easy access for maintenance. I’ll be adding more pics of the process soon.

Can you elaborate a bit on how you managed cables on slide out control panel?

Can you elaborate a bit on how you managed cables on slide out control panel?
I used cable track I found on Amazon. I used the top track for all electrical and the bottom track for just the dosing lines. I wanted to make sure the dosing lines had plenty of room so they wouldn’t pinch. The flex link cable track has screw plates on each end. You can remove links to make it the length you need and then replace the end plate. I mounted the inside plate to the center of the main cabinet side panel and the outside plate to the edge of the sliding panel making sure everything rolled smoothly. I then used Velcro strips to mount the flat cable track on the sliding panel. I wanted to be able to easily remove them to take off the dos pumps if needed.
