I haven’t been happy with the aqua scape of my S1000 since I set it up. I really think I need more height in some areas. So I bought some Liferock and am embarking on a redo.

Hope it turns out the way I want it to.

Boy, I do not envy you having just completed my reboot. Following along in solidarity... your S-1000 could eat two of my tanks as a snack! This is going to be epic!

Sweet - the S-1000 is a big sucker! What's the plumbing in the upper right of the tank? UV?
No UV is plumbed all in sump. That is actually a Fluval FX-6. Kind of a hold over from my 80’s reefing. Not sure if good bad or indifferent, but it does let me keep circulation going during water changes and cleanings.

Got the rock work done. Added Maxspect 350 gyres. Moved a lot of my corals into QT and my frag tanks. Will shoot par levels and then put them back in.

Yikes! Have you upgraded to a ReefMat?

Yikes! Have you upgraded to a ReefMat?
Yes, I have a 1200 Reefmat, RSK900 skimmer, refugium with cheato. I originally got it to use it’s vacuum feature. Was going to use it to clean my tanks when I wanted to clean the sand. However I decided I didn’t want to move between tanks to avoid cross contamination. So now I just run them with some bio media, figure I can use it if I need an emergency tank.
