Hello everyone, an owner of a Fish Store, is selling a Red Sea XL 200, I believe he is selling the tank half of the original brand new price. What are the things that I should look for when buying an used tank and I have an AI Hydra 32, will that work for softies/lps and maybe maybe... one sps? I am open to hear everyones opinion and suggetions.
Thank you for your time

I believe most members here would steer you clear of a used RedSea tank. Just do a search for "RedSea tank failure" and decide for yourself. Many of them fail in spectacular fashion, resulting in loss of livestock and damage to the home or building.

Good luck!

Yeah, you couldn't pay me to put one of those in my house!
That… and coming from someone who had one! Saw the silicone looking a little bubbly at the 1 year mark and was like nope and sold it

Half off a Red Sea tank is not enough. If they were giving it away, I might consider it. Might.

Just remember that warranties on tanks do not transfer, even if this was one of their newer G2 tanks which supposedly have the problem fixed.

Don't do it. Coming from someone who's seams failed last night..... Waiting to hear from support but they said the xl 200 is out of warranty so I can't even get a replacement tank.
