In the current pic, I used some 1"X .25" aluminum bar stock from the hardware store, painted it black, and drilled holes in it to match the holes in the light and then one hole in the center of the bar where I used a T-nut to attach to horizontal section of the mount. I can send you close-up pics if you need, just PM me.
I have not hidden the wires yet as I'm actually going to hang the light on wires and lower it to reduce the spillover lighting in the room. Happy wife happy life. Once the light is lowered, I'll use black zip ties to secure the wires along the back of the verticle of the light mount.
Would you mind sharing the pieces ordered from 80/20 to build the vertical and horizontal components of the light mount?

Great tank setup! Love the huge fuge. What are you running for mechanical filtration?
No mechanical filtration. I've run it in the past and just don't see the benefit. In fact I think it was detrimental to pod production as pods get caught up in it. I've not seen my Mandarin eat anything I feed the tank. he's just eating pods and my fuge is filled with them. The refugium is where it all gets broken down and feeds the Caulerpa as well

Order screenshots below. I missed ordering part 4134-Black on this and had to order after. Total with shipping was $204:

Added a nice Frogspawn colony 3 weeks ago, 3 heads for $50. Not too bad.
I replaced my T5s and went with 2 Purple+ and 2 Blue + and removed the one actinic and 3 Blue+ bulbs the light came with. Color is so much nicer and with starts and ends cycle with the Purple+ bulbs. This really makes colors on the fish pop.
Was finally able to get an order from Reef Cleaners shipped to me now that Christmas is over. Bunch of snails, a dozen hermits and 3 peppermint shrimp that ate several aptasia I had lingering.
Also, got my ATO installed. I'm using a Kamoer F1 to top off over a 12 hour period during the night and up till 8AM . Reservoir is a pet food storage container that holds 14 gallons and give me about 11-12 days of top off.
