I have done some reading into the whole redox subject.

Can any one please explain the following..

I was under the impression that the higher the redox value the greater the oxidation and the lesser reduction.

I just did a water change and the mV dropped 100 points from 420 to 320.

If I am adding fresh salt water to the system, surely the organic concentration is dropping and the ability oxidate is increasing?

Any clues?

Redox has always dropped for me on a water change. Place your ORP probe in freshly made salt water and you will see it far less then your tank.

Ok thanks for the feedback

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
