Redsea ATO+ Question

Hey everyone,
Happy Friday! I have this slight issue, I just purchased a Redsea ATO+, and I absolutely love it. However I have a small drip on the anti-siphon device, the bottom portion drips, top most no issue. I’ve tried reinstalling the tubing and making sure everything was a good fit, no luck being drip free. Currently I have it rigged with one of my girlfriends many hair clips just to avoid water dripping onto the floor and flagging a leak warning but I’d like to get it to just be leak free. Unsure if it’s a manufacturing error and I should contact Redsea, but figured I’d ask you guys if anyone else experienced it. It’s a 5gal slim reservoir running about 4 ft to my BioCube.

Thank you! So if that’s proper, should I cut the tubing closer so it’s over the backside of my BioCube closer to where the top off is to avoid dripping onto the floor? My confusion in the manual was I read every page and no where could I find an explanation for the siphon breaker other than where it should be when installed on a Redsea sump.

Edit: Just reread and said it should drip back to the reservoir. But I have the 4.8G Reef Can and the drip wouldn't end up back in the reservoir due to the cap with how high the line has to go up, in total the tube is 4.5ft to get to the back of the tank.

I just did it like that (not a good picture) but i put the siphon breaker about 3 cm above the pump, so it will just drip back into the reservoir. Im sure it can also just drip into your tank, since its just a few

Gotcha. I guess my goof was seeing that the siphon breaker was at the same height as the water level in the diagram. I appreciate it!

As far as i understand it, it just needs to be on the line, somewhere it can drip off so there cant be a siphon that empties out your reservoir
