RedSea dosing US Gallons vs. UK

Hi everyone,

I'm in the process of creating an Android App to dose Red Sea Ca, Mag, and Alk. Let me give you a little background:

I decided to embark on this app because, based on my research, none of the calculators online seemed to be really accurate, and I was getting frustrated, so I decided to write my own that takes in consideration two part dosing Red Sea product Specs, including safe dosing recommendations and specific dosing amount per product, ect.

The app is Red Sea specfic and it is working really well. The only issue that I have is that Red Sea producst are calculated based on 25 gal (UK) and in the US would be 26.42 gal (US) which makes a difference when doing the calculations.

So my question is should I stick to the 25 gal from Red Sea specs or 26.42 gal (US) while calculating.

I would love that someone from Red Sea to shine some light on this.

I don't know if it make any sense. Any advice will be appreciated.
