Hi all,

My tank is cycling right now, and it seems to be going well!

My 'issue' is, the tank is in my office and about 2' from my head, lol. When the water-level is correct the tank is virtually silent (besides the return pump), however as it gets low, the waterfall noise becomes pretty obnoxious to listen to all day.

My question is, is there any way to get the ATO to activate at a higher sensor? or any ideas on a fix? (everything snaps into place pretty tightly, so just moving the sensor up a little doesn't seem to be a simple task).

My current solution is just to manually run it for a bit, as you'll see below, this morning I added .1G to quiet it down. Not the worst thing in the world, but not if there is a solution, that would be nice. It would be sweet if @RedSeaReef had a way to set it in the app.

Thanks all!

The only way to do it is to physically move the sensor unfortunately

It’s one of the things I really hate about this ATO

Is there anyway you can attach a magnet to the sensor so you can place it at what ever level you want. Seems silly to have an ATO with a fixed sensor. Not everyone is running the same sump at the same exact level.

Not easily, though it is an idea I'll look into!

In the nano xl or any g2 RS tank the sensor uses a clip, not the magnet. The sensor on mine can move up and down slightly, about an 1 inch, to allow water level control.
