Now I could be wrong but isn’t that a lot of on time for the lights? That shows like a 18hr light cycle? Does the long schedule cause any problems? I always thought that was too long?

this is what mine looks like right now.
Still ramping up on lighting. Can’t help myself… @pweezy42 Maybe this is bright enough for you?

If it works, it works. I have a pretty random schedule. So to make sure I can feed them twice a day I need the longer hours. Does the extra hours bother them? Not that I know of. Is it something to revisit if coral growth or coloration doesn’t happen? Yeah. Guess time will tell.
The color on yours looks like it is probably pretty crisp 18k or so.

Diffuser from china finally arrived! After taking some PAR measurements I had to adjust the settings significantly to get a similar output. Here is the new schedule.

Realized UV spectrum is too strong for this small tank. Upped royal blues to finally get some coloration in these sticks.

Been awhile. After a fragswap and meticulous dipping, hair algae was introduced. It’s been a battle… well not really. I remove tufts every week while cleaning and have adjusted the dosers to keep pH at 8.3 consistently. Other than aesthetics it’s not unmanageable.

Gorgeous tank! I would love to see an Update! Thinking of adding a UV sterilizer to my tank but I have the Redsea desktop which is an AIO and I have 0 space in the back (lol)
