My aquarium has two rectangular filter chambers and if I install the nanomat in one of them, there is a space left on the side where the water can pass without going through the filter. I made a homemade adapter tee for it so it block the hole and forces the water to go thru the filter, but I was wondering if there is something better for these cases.

There often is an aftermarket part available to adapt a piece of equipment to a specific tank. Websites like Kreative Reefer come to mind. I once found a part on thingiverse and 3d printed it at the local library. Might find some by searching by the chambers dimensions or the tank name. You could potentially DIY a gasket as well.

Thanks. I did DIY something. It doesn’t perfectly seal it, but it is better than nothing.
