Reduce splash and bubbles in sump return

I know this has probably been asked a million times, but I am having trouble finding a great answer.

Currently I have my 2 drain lines just going straight into the sump at about 1" below the water level. I get a significant amount of noise and splash. I also get microbubbles (not sure if from here or the skimmer).

I don't use socks and don't want to. What other plumbing ideas have come up to reduce the splash? I see some use a sanitary tee that is half exposed on the curve.

Some other things I have seen are to T off unwater, etc. I want to make sure not to restrict the flow, yet prevent turbulence.

Do you have a gate or ball valve to adjust the flow down from the overflow? If not this can be used to dial in a nice (calm) flow rate. It eliminated noise, splash and salt creep in my system once I did as I didn’t install one right away

Edit : also terminate the in pipe underwater (emergency above for noise alert) if you haven't already

I don't and adding one would be a nightmare. I could lower the return pump speed, but have it tuned at the flow rate I am targeting.

If there's air in the drain line and the exit is under the water it will make a ton of bubbles and splash. You can either dial back the flow until it syphons without air in the line or you can not have it exit below the water. A small air gap of just an inch or so will let most of the air escape without becoming bubbles that burst. It will be less splashy but not quieter.
