Reef-a-palooza...worth 3 hour drive?

I see that reef-a-palooza is in Orlando this weekend, that is at least a three hour drive from where I live. I am wondering if it is really worth the drive?
I have been to a few frag shows in the area, they were fun but not worth a long drive.
How much bigger is it? Are there a lot more vendors?

I drove 8 hours for RAP Orange County last fall. Stayed in a motel 2 nights. Worth it.

I have never been but makes it so different then going to your LFS and buying coral? Is it just a bunch of vendors selling coral?

You might find a few bargains, but what you will find is a bunch of rare and designer name priced corals. The hype will drive up prices.

So really only go if I want designer or rare corals? The main reason I ask is because my tank is fairly new and am about to start stocking up on some sps coral to try them out and see how they do. I am not really wanting to buy the high priced coral yet. I didn't know if RAP had great deals or something.

They have everything not just designer expensive stuff. You can find a lot of stuff you will not see locally. I do not buy designer and I left with probably 10 pieces that would have cost more at the LFS. Everyone should go at least 1 time.
Just so happens to be 3hrs from me and went in the past. No more room tank or I would be there no doubt

20 minutes you have no excuses. If you do not go just unplug the tank and sell it :)
