For a 55 you should pick one from the genus Centropyge or Paracentropyge. I would recommend picking one of the following:
1. Coral Beauty
2. Flame
3. Cherub / African Flameback / Brazilian Flameback
4. Multicolor

If you want to try the more difficult ones:
1. Multicolor (can be bought captive bred)
2. Venusta (can be bought captive bred)
3. Colin’s (can be bought captive bred)
4. Golden (rarely captive bred)

If you want a CB fish that’s not too hard to find and won’t break your bank, I’d pick a Biota Coral Beauty.

It is a tough decision though as angels are my favorite family of fish and there’s many pretty ones.

If you have at least a 90 gallon (120 more ideal) I’d probably consider Genicanthus melanospilos, Genicanthus Watanabei, Genicanthus bellus or Genicanthus caudovittatus. Or one of the smaller Chaetodontoplus angels like the Singapore Angel.

I don’t know if it breaks the bank but it seems Centropyge multicolor is slightly less likely to nip coral and is also a small size.
