Does anybody have the shallow reef version with a 14-17k color profile they like to use? If so, could you please post a picture of the graph so I could play around with it? I know there is the community but it doesn't state if it's the original or shallow version and I feel like the majority of them are the original version. Thank you

One of mine is a 14k.
You could simply turn all channels to 100%. This is a 14-17k look. Then decrease white until you get the look you like. Then decrease the master intensity slider to adjust par, while retaining the color you like.

That would be too easy. I didn't know running the channels at the same % would give a 14k look but it definitely does. Thank you, Vintage.

Folks, for my new build I'm seriously considering the Meridians. My tank is 6' x 24" and will be SPS dominate. Would 3 M24's or a single M63 work? Also, I like the idea of Edge lighting, but unsure which edge spectrum option would be best.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Most reefers in your situation who are looking at adding Edge bars end up going with 2 Meridian 35 bundles with the Blue/UV Edge bars and are very happy with that setup. I’d use the Shallow Reef spectrum on the Meridians, which pairs really nicely with the Blue/UV bars and SPS.

That setup gives you the same total power as 3 Meridian 24 bundles, while also being more powerful than the Meridian 63 combo you were considering. You end up with 6 light sources, only 2 power cords for the entire setup, and IMO it looks cleaner. It’s the buy once, cry once option.

If you really like the look of a single fixture, you can connect the 2 Meridian 35 bundles together with the ICS rails and essentially turn them into one continuous light.

A Meridian 63 can work too. I would just make sure you don’t have cross bracing running through the middle of the tank, because that can block some of the light.

If you want, I’m also happy to jump on a call and go over the options with you. Sometimes that’s easier than trying to work everything out through forum posts.

Thank you, this is very helpful. I will reach out this week to discuss further.
