My 75 gallon has a reef breeders photon 48. I have been wanting to add 4 bulb t5 Ho to it. I don't like things that look like or are fire hazards. I want a nice clean look. I just bought a used 8 bulb t5 for $40. I would love to do a floating canopy but that won't work since there's a pop out in the ceiling above my tank were there is duct work. My plan is just to steal guts out of the t5. Has anyone found a nice way to make a hybrid that looks nice. I would love to get something like the triton makes but it only fits radion and that type led it won't fit my 4 foot fixture inside. Could I maybe get a sheet metal guy shape me a piece that would house the while thing. What are your thoughts

I guess to make this easier if people aren't understanding what I'm asking show me your diy t5 led.. Any sheet metal workers out there I can pick your brain.
