There are companies that will make custom lids uuuummmm let me see if I can find it. BRB

Just wondering did you ever get a lid?

Lids are pricey and I am a college kid lol. I forgot but I was too focused on saving for test kits n stuff
i get that haha, Im a med student lol. Did u do any upgrades at all to the tank?

A cheap alternative is to go to your local hardware store and buy a poly-carbonate sheet you can cut to fit with a knife - They're usually used for greenhouses and are especially good as tank lids as they won't bow under heat etc.
Here is a video of someone doing it.

Try the Mightyjet Mini 266 gph. Remove the front cover and it fits right in. Be sure to clean or remove the filter pad or the pump will run dry because the pads impedes the flow through the back chamber.
I run the pump at about 200 gph. You will not have an issue with surface film.
The pump is silent, about 100.00 and comes with a controller.
