And the answer is...B. 965,000 ppm

Good answers, folks!
The total of all components in seawater (or anything else) must add up to 1,000,000 ppm (one million parts per million).

Since the salt sin seawater are present at 35 ppt (35 parts per thousand) which equals 35,000 ppm (p[arts pe rmillion) since a part per thousand is equal to a thousand parts per million.

So 1,000,000 - 35,000 = 965,000 ppm. :)
