My approach to salt selection is this:

  • Choose the salt that more closely matches the system's target parameters
In my opinion, this aids in stability. A lot of folks have been successful with different brands of salt, so the great salt debate will never end. When I switched from IO to Fritz Blue Box, I chose that new salt because it had a lower alkalinity (my preference) than what IO's was.

Note: Some may choose a salt with slightly higher parameters because that just means reduced individual parameter dosing. Other's choose a salt based on budgets and/or availability.

My belief is this, I think you'll do fine with either, just make sure to test regularly versus blindly trusting any brand. Mistakes can happen during manufacturing.

Hope that helps in your choice, but definitely do research as well. :)
