Reef delete upgrade coming.

Just heard there is an upgrade coming for the reef delete unit v1.02. Sounds interesting and is said to give 1.7 times more power. I shall be sending mine back for this free upgrade and report back.

Tried the new one yesterday, black holes where astapia used to be. I haven’t seen those come back yet. Grant it I used it very close to them.

how do u get it upgraded for free?? I bought mine in Jan 2022.

The shop you bought it from will be able to send it back for you when the non commercial upgrade path begins.

Obviously check with who you are buying it from but I assume all new ones sold will be the new version. Most upgrades for commercial customers must be nearly complete I would have thought.

Works for me. I think the main thing to remember with this tool is it is not for those of us that have let aiptasia run riot in our tanks and is for killing a few here and there and in tricky positions. For example I can’t shoot aiptasia x or any other caustic fluid onto some areas on my reef as it falls down into corals. This is when the reef delete comes in. Think of it as a touch up pen. In this regard it works well for me.
