Hi everybody,
I bought six months ago a Reef Factory Smart Tester and I’m pretty happy about it.
I’m now using it for PO4 testing. I would like to start testing NO3 but I cannot find the reagent for this test, I think they are only available PO4 and MG reagent for the tester.

NO3 reagent was supposed to be released in the future. Does anyone know if it has been released? Or when it would be?
Are there problems in releasing it? It’s been some time now.

Thanks

I saw some other posts stating no3 had been delayed. How do you like the po4? How accurate is it? How many tests do you get out of a reagent pack? I've been considering getting one.

Thanks.
I’m waiting for NO3 as I find pretty accurate the Smart Tester for PO4. It’s more or less in line with Hanna tester.
As for the number of tests, I do not know. I think on their internet site you could find an indication, but it seems to me a reasonable number of tests overall.

Thanks.

I reached out to RF as well last month. The reply was that they are doing some final quality control test/analysis to be sure that the results are accurate and consistent. Maybe they want to be sure not to get a repeat situation like the magnesium test

Ok thanks, what happened to the Magnesium test? I do not use it

It's accurate and precise for the tests i conducted with calibrated phosphate solutions. About six months worth of test if testing is done once a day ~ 180 test i guess.

Just an update I replaced my reagents. App says 154 days for 1 test a day, so ~ 5 months

Reef Factory applied for bankruptcy on May the 5th.
As we know now, they have been hanging by a thread since December at least. So any promises they made about future releases in the mean time were probably to keep up appearances.

They have untill Monday to find investors to restart the company…
