So. I have probable over done it but a saltwater store was going out of business and I cleaned up. Stuff was 70% off. So if there was a time to start my life dream of a reef tank it was now. Example the tank, stand, hood $800 return pump, the sump and the protein skimmer was $500. And everything was brand new. Thank being said Any pointers I never had reef tank. Been using store experts and expects at Bulk reef supply to guide me. FeeI have a big mess that looks good on the outside. Lol. Gear listing is 120 gallon marine land extra high tank. Orbit loop led Bluetooth blade light. Iceland 2K jump gyre one on each side with hydros le wave maker. Two 500 watt steel heater with INKBIRD controller. Bashsea sumo 4 foot. Simplicity 3200 g/h DC return pump. Tinge omsmiler 5017 top off. BRS mini carbon reactor BRS full size reactor running GFO. Hanna checkers for calcium phos and alkalinity. Aquascape done and in tank rock curreny cycling. mud and live rock in sump. Cycle for two months then I Stocked with about 5 fish and 19 frags one torch, one bubble tip anemone and two bubble top Lps colonies. Have a protein skimmer bashsea 6-24 but can’t quite figure it out yet and also need to under stand the run off feature. So is not plugged in yet. Was going to continue to stock with a couple more colonies and a clam but need advice. Tank is now 3 months in since I cycled it. I am whipped out from this build so it over I think and now it’s just stocking. Already lots one coral to the file fish. And lost a fire angelfish to the anemone. Just need points and where to go. Dump a boat load of cash into this already and what it to be great without listing g fish and coral like crazy. That hurts…..
