That crab pigeon is something else. We have a problem with lobster parrots down this way. The seahorse is very nice, seems your work is evolving.

I would leave that sea horse exactly as it is and unfinished. I think it looks awesome like that.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Sorry I dropped off the map. Work got crazy and I was working on a piece at the same time that seemed
to take forever to finish because of scheduling.
Here is some new stuff
thanks for looking

Very nicely done! You know I am a fan!

Very cool... I used to do watercolor a long time ago, my grandfather taught me and he was excellent at it. I never got very good, but I can appreciate good work!

I think I recognize our golden pie scoly in that scoly garden! =D

Great work! I like the anatomical realism with just a hint of personality. Where do you find the photography that you base your work from?

Thanks guys it has been a while since I posted on here. Summer has gotten in the way of keeping up with stuff . To answer some questions..yes they are
watercolor and for the rare stuff I look around for photos on the web or in books. Usually I try to get three or four different pictures so I can create a
composite fish and have a choice of coloration etc.. unless I am doing a commission of something specific. For common fish I have a pretty big library of my own shots because I took photos of my LFS stock for their facebook page for about two years.

Here are some paintings in no particular order over the last two months or so
heres some small stuff I have been doing the last two weeks. I have one more in the pipeline and then I have a huge sheet of paper to take a crack at...i think its like 38" x 50 or something
