We dosed fluconazole in the 75 reef tank. Used a 100 gallon dose but did it all it once. No casualties in the CUC
I’ve not seen a lot of success here (mine included) against bubble algae. I used a somewhat higher dose too.
However, i previously use the pet store stuff not the reef hd.
This last time I used reef hd is killed some of my macros too.
I think the two formulas are different. It says it’s the same Mg though. Odd

I’m using it a 4x the dose of it for byropsis.
I wouldn’t recommend keeping a fuge with this treatment. It’ll most likely die.

In the big fluconazole thread , there were a lot of high doses but few casualties. Gha was even hard to kill much less Ba and Calurpa.

This is definitely interesting. I actually have some of the Fluconozole but never used it because I have Tiger Tail cucumbers. Is there any info out there as to how they might fare using the Reef Flux?

Hair algae, 2-3 weeks and it was all gone. It was cool watching it turn white then disappear. I'd suggest running a sock if you don't.

Gotcha. I've got the bubble algae, so I'm not sure if Flucon at 4x dosage is ideal for the long term for SPS. I know they don't like Metroplex for long periods of time (used metro for dinos)

Those are big animals. Biggest concern is strarving really. I have seen extremely few casualties with the med. that couldn’t be attributed to starving.

I have/had a small one in here but after I saw your post I can’t find it. He comes out at night, I’ll try looking before work to see if he’s still in there. Saw him last week but you never know

Little update, it seams to have stopped working around the 3 week mark and it got rid of 99% of the BA. I can see it in a couple of spots. Going to give it a 2 weeks then going to hit it again. As some have said , I think the ones shaded aren’t dying as fast.
