Got the lights on timers using the powerbar
Can anyone help me with getting the slx module setup so i can use the temp/ph probe?
Whenever i plug it in, the lights cut off...

There is most likely an alarm set up to kick the lights off. Is this a new or used unit?

Assuming used, go back in to modules on setup. Turn off alarms and standby's and remember to SAVE.

I'm really glad I read this thread. Had no idea DA was giving up on our hobby.
Guess that narrows my search to Apex!

Im not seeing any alarms on.
How do i know if stand by is on?
Best bet would be to do factory reset so all alarms and standbys are erased. Then reprogram the unit.

no, whenever I plugged the slx module in it cuts timers off. so the only thing plugged in is the pc4 and headunit .
So its reading itemp error because the itemp probe is not connected.

The iTemp probe plugs into an empty buss port. A regular temp probe plugs into the SLX module. How many lights are lit on the RKL head unit?

The iTemp error will be normal if you don't have the probe. Also if I remember correctly the ready fit functions will not work without that probe. That would be the heater, fan and chiller functions. You can use the controller function instead and choose the temp probe from the SLX module. The ready fit functions are just the controller function with some items already setup for you which cannot be changed on that paticular function. Hope this helps.
