Hey everyone, I’ve been using the Reef Mat for a couple of months now, and I thought I’d share my experience. At first, things seemed pretty smooth, but then I started getting these annoying high water level warnings on the Reef Beat app. I tried tweaking the water level sensor, but no luck. Eventually, it just stopped on its own.

Lately, though, I keep getting these jamming notifications, even though the manual advance feature seems to be working alright. What’s more frustrating is the gunk that’s piling up in the sump, beyond the fleece. It’s like the thing just isn’t filtering properly. Now, I know Red Sea makes some solid stuff, but this one just isn’t cutting it for me.

If any of you have run into similar problems and have any tips on how to deal with them, I’m all ears.

I have been running the Reefmat 500 since the day it came out as well. It’s the only Red Sea product I recommend. I have cleaned my sensor twice. Have never experienced any jam nor connection issues
