First time running reef moonshiners and i got all my numbers through the excel spreadsheet and just wanted to double check on a few things before i tear into this.....
Im going to attach the results from the spreadsheet and go from there.
My question is more in regards to a few of the elements. Bromine is the first one im wondering about. It say 84.55ML/day for 2 days. That seems like alot? Now i have absolutely nothing to compare it to other than i dose about 20ML of Alk a day. 97.33ml of Boron a day for 2 days. Im sure its fine im just looking at it like holy crap thats alot!
Likw for iodine im looking at it and its say 2-3 drops /100g until i hit 75-95 where as ATI on my ICP said 33ml total put in 11 per day for 3 days. The reef moonshiners makes it seem like it needs to be added alot slower but then other elements its full send.
I guess the short answer im looking for is am i safe just dumping this much at once or should i spread it out a little more?

There is a lot of bromide in seawater. It's a major ion, so it takes a lot to boost it.
That said, an mL amount means nothing to me, so i cannot comment on the amount without knowing the stock concentration. What was the level?

Dosing rubidium is, IMO, a waste. There is no known required use by any known organisms in or out of the ocean. Same for barium.

Strontium and fluoride are fine to dose, but may have no benefit. I suspect they are, like barium, just randomly incorporated into depositing calcium carbonate (I'll address this tonight on the live stream).

All of the things below barium on the list are worth dosing if low.

FWIW, while many of these additives may be a waste of time and money, Moonshine has been around a while and is unlikely to be steering you into a problem situation (IMO).

I will dose Fluoride, and then a month later on my next ICP, the levels are low again. Do you know what causes the levels to deplete?

Yes. It gets incorporated into calcium carbonate in place of some carbonate, whether deposited by a coral, or just a precipitate. :)

Ah, I see. It would have helped if I fully digested your original response. Apologies and thank you!
