I couldn't get my RO Classis 110-S skimmer to make bubbles in the body yesterday, taking the pump apart and putting it back together made it work. It ran in the sump overnight as expected, I went to adjust the position of the skimmer over about 2 inches and instantly the pump stopped. I tried plugging unplugging it a few times and no luck.
So I take the skimmer back out of the sump, take it apart, put it back together, and I had it to give it power 3 times before the pump started to run again in a bucket of saltwater. I left it run for 30 minutes in the bucket then unplugged it for an hour. Then i plugged it in, pump didn't push water, stood there for 5 minutes and it started by itself.
Any idea's on what's causing this or should I cut my losses and order a new pump?
