Reef Octopus XP1000SSS

So I ordered the above mentioned skimmer from Dr. F&S and was told it was on backorder until Feb 5th. Well today I get an email from them saying the manufacturer has delayed it again and is not to arrive until March 15th.
Now I am beginning to get a bit upset cause everytime I want to set my tank up I have a delay, be it my fault or something else.
I dont know if I should cancel my order and get something else or what?
My tank is a 75 gallon with a Pro Flex model 2 sump and if I were to cancel my order and purchase something else what would be best.
I liked the price I was getting for the XP1000 being that the price has gone up $75 but now Im back to square one.

Any suggestions??

I would stick to the reef octopus sss it's a great design or if you have room jump to the diablo series dc pumps.

$75 bucks off the price is a good deal... We are running the SRO 1000sss and 6000sss on two different systems and love them.
