I used to buy from Reef Pets years ago, but took a break from the hobby. I unsubscribed to a lot of vendor emails and FB pages during my break, but always kept Reef Pets weekly email notifications because I always enjoy seeing Gary's photography skills and random really unique pieces.

Recently I saw a micromussa on his email, clicked the ebay link, and placed a bid. I was outbid at the last second and contacted Gary direct to see if he happened to have any more of the micro I didn't win. After a few communications back and forth, I reserved a piece along with a gold torch and "24k gold" yuma to bring me to the free shipping point.

My shipment was a few hours late due to the holiday shipping time, but everything was expertly packed and the water was actually warmer than my tank water when it arrived.

I'd like to add that I don't know Gary beyond my dealings/communications with him here. I do know he was one of the first in the industry to do online coral sales and that he is mostly a one-man operation. I could not be more pleased with the livestock I've received from him over the years.

Great vendor!

Merry Christmas, everybody.

Thanks Ben for such a great review. As a hobbyist you know how much time and care it takes to keep coral looking at its best, us vendors do the same thing but of course at a higher volume. Therefore, its always nice to see photos of the coral in their new homes. Thanks for the pictures!
