Hello reefers,
I have a very mature Reef tank (115 Gallons) and 15 years old. I have been fight nuisance algae for month. Nothing serious but every time It seems to gone it returns. Most is brown algae with some red slime. Recently watch a BRS video talking about the wonder of Reef Pods. They claim they do wonders to keep nuisance algae under control. Wonder what other think. I was looking at Algae Barn and their Galaxy pods.

I dump a couple of bottles in of blended pods every couple of months along with some Phyto Buffet from Reef By Steel to feed the pods and coral. As far as keeping algae in check I’m sure the pods help but a good clean up crew in my opinion helps the most.
