Alright so i posted the same post in another tab but no one answered it. Here we go, i have the RR pro 180 going over a 40g breeder tank. What is a good level to place it above the tank.

I just ordered this light to go above my 40g breeder as well, Im very curious as to how high you chose to put it above your tank. Thanks for your response in advance.:bigsmile:
I bought this tank mounted stand. My Pro 180 sits exactly 12 1/2" from waters surface. I'm getting perfect coverage over the entire tank. www.aquastyleonline.com

That looks awesome! Thank you so much im in the works for building a canopy but that should work great for me in the meantime time. As far as the light height thank you for giving me a starting point. Every thing I have found so far no one woukd say this is where my light is currently.
