I should clarify... it's not alkalinity I am dosing but buffer supplement to help increase and maintain alkalinity.

Sorry about off-topic:
That spinstream reduces my return flow by about 75% o_O Don't know if I received a faulty one or that's just how they work.
Also, I don't have a Tunze to pick up the slack, just a lowly Koralia 425 :D
Y-valve going back on.

Yes...since the unit it manual, it does require power to spin which in this case is power by water flow which in turns reduces the return flow. Not sure it's 75% though. Maybe 25%? Just guessing at this point...regardless it does reduce flow. I had it going with Sicce 1.0 and it was pretty good.

No... its WAAY over 25%. The output is barely half of what one of the two valves on the Y output. Its that bad, im not exaggerating. I definitely need to upgrade the pump though.

Edit: I guess you might have been saying your output was reduced by only 25%. Gotcha. Maybe I got a dud.

Glad you mentioned it. Honestly since I had used the spinstream since shortly after the tank was setup, I had not really noticed. Plus I already had the extra wave pump which made it less obvious.

Alright, so I finally took a little time earlier this evening to shoot a number of shots of the overall tank from various angles to show the new additions and look of the tank. The next few posts will be images mostly.

Yet to be identified - SPS of some type. I don't recalled what the LFS said and yet to find a similar shape type coral. Any help would be appreciated if you know what this is.

Complete Top View. There are 3 mini maxi anemone which are difficult to capture a pic of as two are under the rocks; the 3rd is on the right corner.

As you can see, the nano real estate in this part is in very short supply ;Hurting:(;)...

Thanks @Mike N

Yes I went to the candy store too often :D. It was hard to pick just one up at times. My last and latest additions were from a local reefer here on R2R who was breaking his IM Fusion 20 down. I took a colony of bam bam, scramble eggs zoas, 1 green zoa colony and a few other equipments off his hands just this passed weekend.

I am definitely looking forward to seeing this grow out. Long term I know a few of these corals will have to be transition to a larger tank (1-2 of the torch, alveopora, galaxea, plus frags of monti). Already I have seen growth starting to take off across the board.
