Reef Related Tattoo's

Well I was wanting to see pics of reef related tattoos you guys have! I have a few tattoos ive received over the years but my dream was to have a reef tattoo the way envisioned it. I went to one of our local tattoo guys, who is an absolute amazing artist, plus is very professional. His shop looks almost like a dr office and not a tattoo parlor, plus his wall had plaques of all the magazines and awards hes won, so I was at ease when I asked him to draw it up. I must have taken 50 or more pics of reef tanks and ocean pics so he could get some ideas ( some of the pics came from you guys tanks lol ). I go 2mrw to see the drawing and change anything that needs be, then after I agree on a drawing I will go week after next to start the process. So in the meen time id love to see what kind of work you guys came up with and ill be updating this as it all comes together.

Yea pretty excited with this also. This has been something ive wanted for a long time but have been real picky on who I wanted to attempt this but ive finally found the perfect artist

My boyfriend is about half way on an amazing tattoo... :) it looks painted its so real... I dont have pics on my phone anymore but I will see if he will share or if I can find one. He hasn't posted it bc its not done lol and didnt want it on Google so everyone can copy :p

So far from being finished but this is a sneak peak of how awesome it is. He also has a giant octopus on his back by a different artist for a cover up that is awesome. I hope to also get something awesome eventually (:

and there is also more to be done to these to make it finished lol and the clown is way too close on the comp to look like it really does... i cant delete now to post a better one =/

diamondreef, that is an awesome blue ring octopus! I have one as well, different style though.

the octopus on his back will be cool and different style than the blue ring. (: that in the last pic is nowhere near finished either. It will have more coral of course and that is a peacock mantis shrimp and a clam in the making lol (: the guy does very detailed work...lol
