Reef Safe Fish

I’m looking for ideas for reef-safe fish that I can keep in a 20 gallon long. I have two clowns and a yellow watchman goby. I recently had a tailspin blenny but it was picking on my zoas so I had to take it out.

Either of the possum wrasses are another option for wrasses. All others need a bigger tank.

You're pretty limited to algae-eating fish for a 20. The tailspot, like you had, or its relatives are options. Look into snails too for that job.

I think the pink streaked wrasse is the only wrasse suitable for a 20G, I’m not sure if you would have aggression issues with another algae eater and your YWG

I don't have personal experience with them, but I fear they wouldn't find enough to eat in a 20 gallon.
