Just ordered this tank off Amazon was curious if there is any reef safe way to make it black if not oh well , side note I’ll be putting silicone or something over the bottom weir to make filtration more efficient
 
Not likely anything that will last. Old school Kyrlon fusion may have had a chance because it had a solvent to help adhesion, but the new product isn't the same.

I would think you are asking for peeling one way or another over time.

Yeah this would’ve been a great steal if it were black but I’ll accept my little Amazon robbery lol
 
Get a piece of black acrylic cut and put in front of it. Drill some holes where the overflow slits are
