reef safe urchin for sps dominant tank?

Tuxedo urchins, most small urchins are reef safe. but you have to make sure stuff is secured, because if it isn't fastened they will carry it around with them.
would putty be enough to hold things down?

Depends on how secure. It is amazing the strength a golf ball sized, spiny creature can exert when he wants to decorate himself.
Small frags are easy to retrieve and pretty resilient.

Hands down Tuxedo urchin. Mine has demolished matt algae and takes its time to make sure it doesn’t miss anything before moving on.

Also have a Pincushion and a Fire urchin in my tank, both are reef safe and effective, but they both seem much more fickle about clearing an area. The Fire urchin has also grown a lot faster than I expected, it sure is beautiful though.
