Looks to be standard black egg crate. Will be fine if that’s what it is.
 
Egg crate was very popular in lighting design many years ago.
 
For anyone who’s wondering. It worked exactly as anticipated in my 13.5 and for my wants.

Changing out the filter every other day was getting old, especially since I would spend some time rescuing amphipods yes, amphipods. It lasted a week before coming close to clogging before needing to be changed out. D9C60CA8-6E87-456F-AA37-B578F93D132B.jpeg
