Going to Vegas in 10 days for a much needed vacation.
Would like to know if there are any impressive reef tanks I could go check out???
I know of a few in casinos but most of those appear to have all fake corals in them.

ANY input would be great!!!!

TroyLee is in Vegas :) Maybe you should try to check out his tank while you are in town. haha.

I hear that Troylee guy has a nice one but he never takes pic's to show it off.... J/K!

I have heard that Mandalay Bay is worth checking out.

No reefs in Vegas besides personal one... Now saltwater tanks there is a few... Forum shops at ceasers palace has a couple, Mandalay bay has the shark reef pretty
Cool and worth checking out... Silverton has a 20k cylinder tank full of tangs and rays with articfical corals... Ummm mirage has a alright fish tank... That's about it...

There are a couple stores with very nice display tanks too

mmmm bammer Well I will have to just go take pics of the secret garden big cats then :(

rainforest cafe @ Mgm Grand has a bunch of cool fish only tanks. no live corals tho . unfortunately I didn't have a chance to connect and check out Mr Lee's tank due to me getting sick 4 days out of my 6 day vegas trip recently. :beat_brick:

Isn't in Vegas that a Hotel has a Shark tank that the pool slide goes trough it?? and only a glass wall devides one from the other??
Think I saw it in the travel channel.

Found it, is the Golden Nugget

One of them has a big tank behind the check in counter. Bellagio perhaps?

Correct... We have a few nice fish only tanks but no reefs in Vegas.... There is a mcdonalds with a 1000gal softy tank lol... It has like 3 leathers and 2 nems or something with broken glass, cyano and sick fish if that interests you while your having lunch.... Lol

that's the Mirage. the Shark Reef is in Mandalay Bay. Silverton's cylinder tank is pretty cool. haven't seen the Rainforest one.

I would say check out the Shark Reef and hook up with Lee for the LFS if he's got time. :)

Isn't there a really big FO salt tank in the shops at Ceasars Palace? I am pretty sure when I was there last year that is where I saw one. Probably 40ft long...
